Social Media & Content Strategist (Night-shift/Canada) - Remote

Background

If you live and breathe digital storytelling, design clever content in your sleep, and geek out over content calendars and campaign engagement stats—you’ll want in on this.

About the Role

• This isn’t a passive posting job. You’ll lead the charge in turning ideas, events, and industry moments into scroll-stopping content. You’ll own the content roadmap, spark community engagement, and know how to turn long-form content into snack-able social bites. You’ll be creating fast and thinking even faster.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design eye-catching social media posts using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Plan and manage a content roadmap aligned with launches, campaigns, and trends.
• Identify strong “hooks” and repurpose blogs, podcasts, or videos into social posts.
• Manage community engagement: respond to DMs/comments, join conversations.
• Track performance and produce monthly reports with smart recommendations.

Requirements

About YOU

• 2+ years of experience running social media accounts for brands or clients.
• Confident using Canva or Adobe tools to design content.
• Fast, adaptable, and full of ideas—especially under tight timelines.
• Sharp eye for what works and what doesn’t in content strategy.
• Experience with content scheduling tools (like Sprout Social) is a bonus.
