About the Role

We are a high-growth startup redefining personalizing mobile marketing. We’ve built incredible products, and now it’s time to build an iconic brand. We’re looking for a visionary Senior Director of Brand & Content to establish and scale a transformative brand strategy, evolve our narrative, and create compelling content that drives awareness and engagement across multiple channels.
As we strengthen our brand focus, we're building out our integrated brand marketing function to serve as a central hub for our campaign efforts. Working closely with our Creative team, Product Marketing team, Content Marketing team, and cross-functional partners, this role will help shape and execute cohesive campaigns that elevate Attentive's brand presence and drive business impact.

This role will oversee all aspects of our company's brand identity and content strategy, including developing a cohesive brand voice, managing written and video content creation across various channels, ensuring consistency in messaging, and driving brand awareness through compelling storytelling, while collaborating with different teams to execute marketing initiatives aligned with the brand vision. 
This is a critical role in defining our brand strategy, metrics, positioning and initiatives. Our ideal candidate is someone who can create a compelling brand strategy and vision and bring it to life by rallying and influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels. You understand our space and users and shape and tell our story with bold initiatives, crisp execution and help move our brand metrics and quantify results.

What You’ll Accomplish

    • Brand & Content Strategy:
    • Define and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that differentiates us in the market and connects the Attentive brand with our consumers 
    • Develop a multi-channel content strategy that fuels thought leadership and brand growth and plan to best leverage it across web, social, PR, events and paid media for maximum impact. 
    • Strengthen our video content strategy, with a strong focus on YouTube as a key channel for awareness and engagement.
    • Create strategy and plan to weave strategic customer storytelling throughout our content

    • Campaign Development & Execution:
    • Drive the strategic development and execution of our key integrated marketing campaigns that build brand awareness and support business objectives.
    • Own the development of quarterly brand campaigns, including campaign strategy, creative briefs, timeline, budget and agency management
    • Ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints while pushing creative boundaries to help us stand out in the market.
    • Measure and analyze brand and content performance, using insights to refine and optimize strategies. Implementation and management of tools to help monitor brand health; benchmarking, implementing, and improving brand metrics 
    • Strengthen and build our video content strategy, particularly on YouTube, to capture market share in this growing channel and support our brand awareness goals.

    • Cross-Functional & Agency Collaboration:
    • Partner with Growth, Communications, Product Marketing, and Acquisition teams to ensure messaging is cohesive and optimized for both brand and performance.
    • Manage and collaborate with agencies to bring high-quality creative campaigns to market.
    • Oversee the RFP process and build strong relationships with external vendors and partners.
    • Lead a team of brand, content and social professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.

Your Expertise

    • 12-15+ years of experience in brand and integrated marketing, content strategy, and creative leadership, ideally within high-growth startups or category-defining brands
    • A track record of building and evolving a brand from early-stage to industry leader—turning “brand debt” into brand equity
    • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to solve complex problems and identify the "why" behind campaign initiatives
    • Experience leading a high-performing team and managing agencies
    • Deep understanding of how to create and distribute content that drives awareness, engagement, and business impact
    • Strong storytelling ability—knowing how to shape narratives that resonate with customers and differentiate a brand
    • Expertise in integrated marketing campaigns, brand activations, and content distribution across digital and offline channels
    • Analytical mindset with experience measuring and optimizing brand impact
    • A passion for creativity, culture, and pushing boundaries in brand-building
    • You thrive in fast-paced environments and can adapt quickly to changing priorities

For US based applicants:- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000 - $230,000 annually + equity + benefits- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location
