Pinterest’s Global Business Marketing (PBM) team is responsible for increasing consideration for Pinterest with advertisers and media agencies. PBM is looking for a content marketing manager (contract) to support our team’s priorities by creating and scaling locally relevant and engaging content across owned, paid and industry touch points.
As a content marketing manager on temporary assignment you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, stakeholders and subject matter experts to enable cohesive, strategic and impactful content marketing programs. This role will predominantly support our business in the U.S. and Canada, with some time devoted to Latin America and occasional support of global programs.
This is a parental leave backll role commencing on or close to March 17, 2025 and concluding on November 10, 2025.
What you’ll do:
● Quality content development: Produce industry-leading content that both informs and engages the audience, considering all content types and channels available. Our approach should be driven by our objective, our audience and understanding of what has worked well before
● Measurement: Continue to measure the ecacy of content marketing efforts with the tools & systems in place (while working with analytics to uplevel our tracking & understanding) and consistently use insight and learnings to rene, iterate and optimize our approach.
● Channel strategy: Develop a clear understanding of the owned and operated platforms we use, identify key objectives for each one and establish an interconnected strategy to ensure a cohesive, integrated approach. This includes but is not limited to the business website/blog, social media channels and advertiser newsletters
● XFN partnership: Consult with leaders across the Global Sales Org and other teams for subject matter expertise to inform content. Partner with creative leads on the content side (biz site, email) to ensure strategic alignment and quality consistency.
What we’re looking for:
● 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the advertising industry
● Exceptional writing skills; while you will often have writing support, you need to know what good looks like
● Proficiency in tech platform business models and the advertiser audience
● Strong communication, project management and cross-functional leadership skills
● Proven track record of delivering quantifiable business impact
● Growth mindset, and willingness to play both leadership and support roles with equal enthusiasm
