OVERVIEW
Curious Plot is seeking a proactive, consultative Senior Digital Strategist to lead strategy development and champion client and customer insights across diverse accounts. This is an opportunity to help shape brands and drive impact in a high-exposure role focused on the segments of Agriculture, Food and Animal Health.
You must be a progressive thinker who can collaborate closely with account management, paid media, social media, creative, public relations and clients to define goals, develop outcome-driven solutions by applying trends in technology, media channels, the competitive landscape, and audience insights, and connect the digital dots of opportunity across a range of channels for teams. We favor cross-training, broad experience and fearlessness in digital strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
- Working with stakeholders to identify the business and marketing goals of our clients and then to research, conceive, present, and implement integrated digital strategies based on the client objectives and target audiences.
- Oversee research to distinguish digital personas for campaigns.
- Successful track record at building relationships and identifying new opportunities with clients.
- Creating integrated digital strategies that activate across platforms and channels, including paid digital media, social, marketing automation/email, and others.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seek creative ideas and provide input, ensuring all ideas meet business objectives.
- Develop and deliver high-quality, compelling client presentations, new business presentations, POVs, and briefs (internal and external).
- Responsible for thought leadership on the latest trends and best practices of emerging concepts, trends, technologies, and their potential benefits.
- Early adoption of technologies, concepts, approaches and best practices and a passion for future proofing not only yourself with this adoption, but the teams and clients that you support.
- Futurist at heart with a relentless focus on excellence of execution. You are already confidently conversant in AI but are innovating its use in your own work and understand implications for our work and our clients.
- Strong, confident and compelling presentation and speaking skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelorβs degree in technology, marketing, communications, business, liberal arts or a related field preferred but not required.
- 7+ years in digital strategy, marketing strategy and strategic planning. Agency experience prioritized.
- Sophisticated audience targeting, collaboration on creative and marketing strategy, search strategy, demand generation, email strategy, social media engagement and digital content strategy.
- Integrating digital campaigns with traditional media including print, OOH, broadcast, and email marketing
- Strong presentation skills in support of communicating clearly and with confidence. High proficiency in presentation design and organization.
- Strong, confident decision-making, organization, time-management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team. A self-starter who motivates others.
- Experience mentoring, leading and managing team members across functions, developing the next generation of digital strategists and strategic thinkers.
