Satire Staff Writer

The role

Five deadpan satire articles and five short news-desk videos a month make up the deliverable for this contractor seat, written in the voice of a real newsroom covering the security industry. It is remote for candidates in the US or Europe, pays $600 a month base, and adds 3% of ad spend when a piece gets promoted. You need real practitioner experience in security or software engineering, and your name and likeness appear publicly, so pen names are out. Plenty of people keep their day job alongside it.
