The role
You'll lead the company's after-hours news operation, overseeing writers and making editorial decisions during your shift. You'll curate the news list, assign and edit stories, handle breaking news, and ensure the edit queue is cleared before your shift ends. This is a fully remote full-time role with a schedule of Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm PT and Sunday 12pm-8pm PT, though you may need to come into an office once or twice a year. You'll work with a team of writers and report to senior leadership, taking initiative when they're unavailable.
