The role
You'll lead the afternoon and evening newsdesk, writing quick-turn spot news stories and editing national news from breaking stories to the occasional enterprise piece. You'll monitor developing stories in real time and flag them to experts, reporting to the executive editor on a fully remote, full-time basis. The shift runs 2pm to 10pm Eastern, Sunday to Thursday.
