Freelance Creative Strategist

We're hiring at Almost Studio 💚

Almost Studio is the consulting arm of Almost, an independent social-first media outlet telling underrepresented stories for young audiences. We work with organisations like Amnesty International, Save the Children and Privacy International to help them communicate complex issues in ways that audiences actually connect with.

We're a small, remote team of young women journalists and creatives based across the world, and we're looking for someone who shares our worldview.

👩‍💻 The role: Freelance Creative Strategist

1-3 days a week, 3 months to start, fully remote.

We need someone who can:
• Come up with content ideas and strategy for client campaigns
• Write sharp copy for scripts, carousels, social that break down complex topics without sacrificing the substance
• Creative-direct production so the final output feels editorial and not like branded content
• Understand what clients need, even when they can't articulate it themselves

You should have 2-4 years of experience in editorial, content strategy or social-first storytelling. You think in big pictures, not tiny details. You have taste, can write and get why how you tell a story is as political as the story itself.
