At Al Jazeera English, we have few freelance opportunities (yearly contract that can be renewed ) for Editors, Senior Producers and Producers to work in our Washington DC office.
Experience needed:
Editor: 5 - 10 years as desk editor with Americas , international and national news experience.
Must have work experience in a digital news and print writing.
Live Page Editor - running coverage and supervising a small team. (Fast paced, work under pressure. You must have prior experience)
Senior Producer/ Producer:
4 to 7 years experience in writing breaking news, news articles, features, explainers and able to write analysis when needed.
You need to be a legal resident in the US and authorized to work.
