Location: Sunderland, UK. Hybrid working (must be able to work in the office 2/3 days per week).
Salary: Β£25,000 per annum
Hours: MondayβFriday, 37.5 hours per week
About the role
We're looking for a talented Assistant Copywriter/Instructional designer to join our Sunderland-based team at Mint (this is a UK-based role only).
This is a hybrid role with a minimum of two or three days a week in our Sunderland office (depending on how far you need to travel), so please only apply if youβre able to commute at your own expense.
What youβll be doing:
- Scriptwriting engaging and accessible eLearning courses and videos, following our instructional design process.
- Reviewing and editing client content.
- Working with the development and sales teams to propose treatment of source content.
- Liaising with clients throughout the project to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
- Proofreading and sense-checking eLearning courses for accuracy, consistency and coherence.
- Working with the wider development team to ensure that proposed interactions are accessible and compatible with the chosen authoring tool.
The skills weβre looking for:
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Attention to detail.
- An eye for creative solutions and the ability to translate complex concepts into engaging and accessible content.
- Ability to collaborate across teams.
- A confidence that assures your team and client that you know your stuff.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programmes β Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Be capable of managing your own time (and othersβ!) effectively to meet deadlines.
