Writer and Content Strategist

I'm looking for a writer / content strategist to help me build Iconic's public voice from scratch.

We started Iconic 12 months ago and have so far focused on developing our product together with our design partners and nailing initial product market fit. Today we support 5 clients to develop and deliver some of the most ambitious and critical infrastructure projects across Europe. And we are ready to scale. Time to lift our public presence.

At Iconic, we're building toward an AI native operating system for the world's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. These are the projects that build the physical world around us: energy infrastructure, data centers, chip fabs, critical assets. 12% of global GDP is spent on these projects, and less than 3% of them land on time, on budget and do what they were meant to do. The stories that get written are the post-mortems about what went wrong. We will write the stories of how to succeed, and you get to write about it while it happens.

Who I'm looking for: First and foremost you are a writer. You command the craft of how a message actually lands with the right reader. You've done this before at an early-stage company and understand the need: define comms principles with the founders, know what moves our audiences, curate the storylines that matter, and find the form that fits the story.

The role will start fractional, approximately 16 hours a week. Remote is OK for this role. English at native level.
