About the Role
We are seeking an experienced True Crime Script Writer to create high-impact scripts based on raw police body camera footage and real-world criminal cases.

Our audience expects tight, gripping, emotionally charged storytelling that is accurate, compelling, and built directly from the footage. This role requires strong narrative instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to structure voiceover around real events without exaggeration or filler.

Responsibilities
Write compelling voiceover scripts based on raw police body camera footage
Integrate timestamps and footage cues directly into scripts
Craft clear, emotionally engaging narration that enhances — not distracts from — the video
Maintain accuracy while building tension and narrative flow
Meet deadlines and handle multiple scripts per week
Collaborate with an editorial team and incorporate feedback

Requirements
Proven experience writing true crime, documentary, or investigative scripts
Strong storytelling ability with an emphasis on pacing and emotional impact
Experience working with real-world footage (body cam, interrogation, surveillance, etc.)
Ability to structure scripts with timestamps and narration
Excellent command of written English
Reliable availability for 30+ hours per week
Ability to commit to a long-term role (6+ months)
