Are you passionate about global news, current affairs, and staying ahead of digital trends?

Al Jazeera Digital News Room is seeking a highly motivated Digital SEO Producer to join our growing SEO team. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring our award-winning, human-focused storytelling reaches the widest possible global audience.

What you'll do (among other things):

• Be part of the SEO pulse of the newsroom: Keep the digital team informed of the latest search trends, upcoming opportunities, and keyword strategies during breaking news.
• Data-driven storytelling: Monitor, track, and report on SEO performance, using data to make informed editorial suggestions and optimize content engagement.
• Create compelling content: Write accurate copy, select strong visuals, and explore alternative formats to maximize user experience.
• Focus on the XXXXXXX (MENA/US/ASIA REGION: )While covering global news, you'll be working in a specific shift, pushing boundaries in digital storytelling.
• Become part of a team: This is a fast paced role, and strong teamwork and communication skills will be needed to succeed.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience writing, producing, and reporting in a national/international digital newsroom, with a proven track record of audience growth.
• Speed, accuracy, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills, specifically with large data sets in Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot Tables/Graphs are a strong asset). Data visualization experience (e.g., Google Data Studio) is a plus.
• Fluency in English with a high standard of writing.
• Experience with multiple media optimisation.
