eo & co. is growing! πŸš€

We’re excited to welcome more people to our team as we continue building the next generation of strategic communicators, digital organizers, and movement power builders.

We’re hiring two new members of our digital team. People who can create campaigns through written content, creating graphics, editing video, and building strategy; who believe communications can do more than generate clicks. Looking for folks who have done this on at least one campaign - preferably electoral.

If you’re someone who wants to combine creativity with purpose, strategy with action, and digital storytelling with actual real-world impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Title: Strategic Digital Manager
Location: Remote
Reports to: Director, Digital

About eo&co:

eo&co is a strategic communications firm that advises progressive organizations, electoral campaigns, advocacy groups, and movement leaders on how to shape narratives, build power, and drive lasting social change. We deliver both high-level strategy and hands-on execution across media, digital, narrative development, and crisis communications, helping our clients cut through complexity and communicate with clarity, urgency, and impact in high-stakes political and cultural moments.

Position Description:

eo&co is seeking a Digital Manager to support its progressive advocacy, movement building, and election-related work. This role will play a key part in developing and executing digital strategies that mobilize supporters, influence public narratives, and supports coalition and electoral campaigns. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on practitioner who thrives in fast-paced, values-driven environments.

Core Responsibilities:

The Digital Manager will be responsible for a mix of strategic planning, execution, and collaboration, including but not limited to:

Strategy & Project Management

  • Develop and execute digital strategies for advocacy, movement-building, and electoral engagements, translating client objectives into channel-specific tactics and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with EO&Co personnel and client teams as reasonably necessary to integrate deliverables into broader digital programs.
  • Attend coalition, client, and partner meetings identified in the applicable Statement of Work to present digital recommendations and status updates.
  • Design and deliver digital training sessions and accompanying materials where included in the applicable Statement of Work.

Content Creation

  • Produce message copy for digital channels, including social media, email, web, and peer-to-peer and broadcast text programs, with revisions to conform to client-approved messaging guidelines.
  • Produce digital toolkits, guidance documents, and resource materials for client-designated audiences, including partners, volunteers, organizers, and surrogates.
  • Produce social media graphics and short-form video assets consistent with client-approved brand and narrative standards. Contractor may supply its own design tools and software licenses.
  • Provide rapid-response deliverables during time-sensitive moments, subject to Contractor's availability and mutually agreed turnaround windows.

Platform Management & Analysis

  • Manage content calendars, production workflow, and oversee implementation of scheduling tools such as Metricool, Buffer, or similar.
  • Deliver platform monitoring and trend analysis reports covering social platforms, digital tools, and rapid-response opportunities relevant to the engagement.
  • Conduct research supporting messaging, audience targeting, and strategic recommendations, and deliver written findings.
  • Execute and optimize digital advertising campaigns within budgets and parameters set by the client, and deliver performance reviews.
  • Deliver periodic analytics reports on digital performance metrics, with recommendations for tactical adjustments.

Additional services may be added only by written amendment to the applicable Statement of Work, at rates agreed by the parties.

Required Experience

  • Five or more years of digital communications experience, including at least two cycles or campaigns in progressive advocacy, labor, issue campaigns, or electoral politics.
  • Demonstrated record of building and running digital programs end to end: strategy development, scheduling tools, content calendars, list growth, paid media, and performance reporting.
  • Experience advising clients or senior principals directly, including presenting recommendations to coalition tables, executive directors, campaign managers, or high-profile surrogates.
  • Experience operating in rapid-response environments where messaging decisions are made in hours, not days.
  • Ability to track, interpret, and report on digital analytics and performance metrics
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google Drive
  • Fluency in English; Spanish-language proficiency is a plus

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • At least two electoral cycles managing or contributing to digital communications within an organization, IE campaign, or candidate campaign.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfort working in coalition environments and with diverse partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable tactics.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented approach to work.
  • Commitment to progressive values, equity, and social justice.
