Now, we're looking for a Storyteller & Content Creator who can help us document, shape, and share the stories that make Good what it is.

  • You believe stories are one of the most powerful ways to build community.
  • You notice what others miss. You ask thoughtful questions, uncover compelling narratives, and know how to transform ordinary moments into meaningful content.
  • You are equally comfortable behind a camera, in front of a laptop editing footage, interviewing people, writing copy, or developing a content concept from scratch.
  • You understand that Good is not simply a retail company. It is a collection of creators, communities, spaces, products, conversations, and experiences; all waiting to be documented and shared
  • You are curious, resourceful, culturally aware, and deeply interested in people. Most importantly, you know how to create content that makes people feel something.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role exists to discover, develop, and tell the stories that power Good's growth, community, and cultural relevance.

Primary responsibilities:

This employee's duties will include, but are not limited to, the following core areas:


  • Story Discovery & Narrative Development
    • Identify and develop compelling stories across creators, customers, community members, events, experiences, products, and the wider Good ecosystem.
    • Conduct interviews, research, and story gathering to uncover authentic narratives that reflect Good's mission and values.
    • Build a repeatable storytelling system that continuously surfaces meaningful stories from across Good Online, Good House, Good Village, and community programs.
  • Content Creation & Production
    • Produce video, photography, written, and multimedia content that brings Good's people, spaces, and experiences to life.
    • Shoot, edit, direct, and publish platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the Good Newsletter.
    • Maintain high creative standards while ensuring content remains authentic, relatable, and aligned with the Good brand.
    • Launch and maintain a recurring Good storytelling content series across all major channels.
    • Produce and publish a minimum of 20 high-quality storytelling assets within the first 90 days.
    • Maintain a consistent publishing cadence across agreed content platforms.
  • Community, Creator & Cultural Storytelling
    • Develop recurring storytelling formats that spotlight creators, community members, local culture, and conscious living.
    • Document events, activations, workshops, launches, and everyday moments that strengthen community participation and brand affinity.
    • Work closely with Community, Curation, Partnerships, and Operations teams to ensure stories are captured and shared consistently.
  • Audience Growth & Content Performance
    • Create content that drives audience growth, engagement, event attendance, creator discovery, and participation across Good platforms.
    • Monitor content performance and continuously improve storytelling approaches based on audience insights and platform trends.
    • Support content-led campaigns designed to strengthen awareness, trust, and community engagement.
    • Contribute to a minimum 20% increase in content engagement within the first 90 days.
    • Support audience growth, event attendance, creator discovery, and community participation targets through storytelling.
    • Increase reach, shares, saves, comments, and meaningful audience interactions.
  • Editorial & Brand Contribution
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of Good's editorial voice, narrative themes, and cultural positioning.
    • Support newsletters, long-form storytelling projects, creator features, documentaries, and special editorial initiatives.
    • Help define what Good stands for through thoughtful and consistent storytelling.
    • Consistently capture and document key creators, community, product, and cultural stories across the Good ecosystem.
    • Improve awareness and understanding of Good's mission, creators, products, and experiences through content.
    • Help establish Good as one of the most compelling storytelling brands within Nigeria's creator and lifestyle ecosystem.
  • This employee shall perform other related duties as assigned

PROBATIONARY EXPECTATIONS

This role is subject to a 3-month probationary period.

During this period, the Storyteller and Content Creator will be expected to:

  • Build and launch an always-on storytelling content engine for Good.
  • Produce at least 20 high-quality platform-native stories featuring creators, spaces, experiences, and community members.
  • Contribute to measurable audience engagement growth and support community participation goals through content-led storytelling.

This employee shall perform other related duties as assigned.

THE TYPE OF PERSON WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, storytelling, journalism, filmmaking, documentary production, media, communications, or related creative fields.
  • Salary expectation of ₦400,000 – ₦600,000
  • Strong skills in video production, photography, editing, interviewing, writing, and content development.
  • Experience creating platform-native content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and newsletters.
  • Exceptional storytelling instincts and the ability to identify meaningful narratives from everyday interactions.
  • Strong creative judgment, cultural awareness, and a deep appreciation for Nigerian creativity, culture, and community.
  • High ownership, initiative, reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Someone who can tell stories that make people stop, feel, connect, and participate.
