We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior SEO Specialist to join our remote team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is crucial for leading and executing comprehensive SEO strategies. The successful candidate will significantly improve our company's organic search performance, enhance online visibility, and support business growth by aligning SEO initiatives with broader digital marketing objectives. This position requires strong self-management and collaboration across various internal teams in a fully remote environment.

  • A high level of proficiency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SEO or a related field, with a proven track record of significantly improving organic search performance.
  • A strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and core SEO best practices.
  • Expertise in industry tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and various Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks effectively, and take ownership in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals to enhance organic visibility and drive targeted traffic.
  • Identify and prioritise high-impact keywords and content opportunities through competitive research and data analysis.
  • Ensure all website content, structure, and technical aspects are thoroughly optimised for search engines to maximise ranking potential.
  • Collaborate with content teams to embed SEO best practices into content planning, development, and publishing processes.
  • Track, measure, and report on SEO performance metrics using industry-standard tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs), providing actionable insights.
  • Identify technical SEO issues through regular audits and work with developers to implement effective fixes and enhancements.
  • Build and execute a robust link-building strategy to increase domain authority and improve search engine rankings.
  • Stay informed about the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and emerging technologies to proactively adapt strategies and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Work closely with marketing, development, and product teams to ensure SEO is fully integrated across all digital initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong self-management, communication, and task ownership within a fully remote working environment.
