I was going to say I’m excited to share that we’re expanding Wake Media’s digital services… but apparently that’s overused.
So simply put - I’m looking for an entrepreneurially spirited individual who can bring real understanding and autonomy to a rapidly evolving offering.
As a Digital Marketing Executive, the role will be centred around hands-on digital marketing, primarily supporting and delivering SEO (GEO / AI SEO / AI visibility / LLM optimisation - or whatever we’re calling it this week), paid advertising, and campaign management. This role is ideal for someone who wants to develop deep expertise - not only from a marketing perspective, but also by working with us and how we operate as we develop proprietary tools and services to make our clients lives easier, and their business impact stronger - by leveraging the latest technologies, AI and agents.
Key channels and platforms include LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, programmatic, email marketing, and Google Suite (Analytics, Search Console, Lighthouse, etc), alongside tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and our proprietary SEO dashboard built specifically for the maritime and energy sectors. This role will suit someone who is analytical, performance-focused, and comfortable working with data.
The growth opportunity within this position is significant, with exposure to multiple channels and industries, and the chance to be part of a business that is scaling.
Wake Media brings over a decade of experience within the maritime and energy sectors, with strong relationships and partnerships that enable us to deliver a genuinely holistic service to our clients. We pride ourselves on being agile and adaptable, working closely with clients to deliver meaningful campaigns and solve real challenges.
The role offers a strong work/life balance through a hybrid setup, with the option to work from Petersfield or Croydon.
What I’m really looking for is someone with 2-4 years’ experience who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and proactive.
If this sounds like something that is a bit of you - or someone you know - tag them in the comments below, and check out the full job spec and apply here:
P.S. I am genuinely excited and happy to answer any questions - there are some very interesting projects developing to get stuck into 👀
