About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious medical writer who will enjoy working collaboratively with our medical and marketing team client partners to produce accurate and engaging scientific content across a broad range of medical communication deliverables. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic Auckland-based team while enjoying hybrid flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality scientific content on fast-paced and growing pharmaceutical product accounts
- Providing clients with a high level of scientific expertise on medical communications projects, with a focus on HCP materials, symposia, stand alone meetings, advisory boards and digital content
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client products and the wider therapy area
- Ensuring quality and consistency across multiple deliverables
- Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts
- Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams
- Identifying opportunities for organic growth of accounts and actively participating in idea generation
Qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MSc, etc.)
- 5+ years experience in medical communications or scientific writing
- Ability to interpret complex data and craft accurate, engaging content for varied audiences
- Strong capability in both scientific writing and commercially aligned communication
- Comfortable working in a hybrid Auckland role
- Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand
