We're looking for a Senior Digital Copywriter ποΈ
If you know or if you are a senior digital copywriter who understands that writing a website and shaping a brand story are the same conversation, has owned messaging direction on enterprise-scale builds, and already thinks about copy in terms of search, including how AI-driven search is changing what good content means.

At Edgar Allan, we call this work moving brands from clarity to conversion. In the AI era, being understood isn't just a brand problem, it's a search problem, an AEO problem, and a content problem all at once.
We're deep in this work across industries and we need a senior writer who can walk into a discovery session, figure out what a company needs to say, and go write it: the website, the landing pages, the knowledge-led content that actually performs.
This is not a downstream execution role. If you've been doing something closer to a messaging strategy, just expressed through writing, and you've been frustrated that nobody calls it that, we want to talk.
8+ years of experience.
Agency background strongly preferred.
An enterprise portfolio is required.
Fully remote.

Edgar Allan is an award-winning Webflow Enterprise Partner agency working at the intersection of brand and performance. We help mid-market and enterprise businesses move from brand clarity to conversion β because in the AI era, a strong brand isn't just good positioning, it's how you're found, understood, and chosen.
β
We're ~60 people working across the globe, with leadership in Atlanta, Georgia, and a front-row seat to the biggest shift in how brands compete in a decade. We're not watching AI change the industry from the sidelines. We're building the practice, developing the frameworks, and doing the work in real time alongside our clients.

We're looking for a senior digital copywriter who can walk into a brand discovery session, figure out what a company needs to say and how it needs to say it, and then go write the website, the audience-aligned landing pages, and the search-aligned knowledge leadership content that converts and creates growth for our clients.
This is a role for someone who has spent time writing enterprise websites; the big, complex, multi-stakeholder kind, and has developed strong instincts around messaging, narrative structure, and what it takes to move a buyer to action. You've worked with UX teams, designers, developers, and strategists. You know how to firm and hold your ground on copy decisions, and you know how to collaborate.
You'll work across brand, SEO, and AEO engagements, plugging into the right place on each project and driving the content from start to finish.
β
β
Set messaging direction, then execute it.Β On many projects, you'll be the person who defines how a brand should sound and the messaging story it presents to digital audiences. Then you'll write with outcomes in mind, not just brand clarity, but copy that moves buyers and supports conversion.Β
Own the writing on complex digital engagements.Β Enterprise websites, large-scale content builds, multi-channel campaigns. That includes the full content design process: audits, content inventories, working with UX on structure, and orchestrating content collection when multiple contributors are involved. You're not intimidated by scope or moving parts. You manage your work, communicate proactively, and deliver.
Write for both humans and AI-driven search.Β You understand how content strategy has evolved. Strong writing for modern search β including answer engine optimization β is part of how you think, not an afterthought.
Contribute to thought leadership and long-form content.Β Article writing, POV pieces, knowledge-led content. You've done this before and understand how brand, SEO, message and increasingly, AEO come together to create content that performs for brands. (Note that this is NOT a performance marketing role.)
Collaborate across a distributed team.Β Designers, strategists, UX, SEO leads, AEO specialists, developers. You know how your work fits into a larger project and how to operate inside a team without needing to be managed.

A body of work at the intersection of brand, content, and search, at a moment when that intersection is more consequential than it's ever been.

If you're a writer who waits for a brief, delivers the asset, and moves on, this isn't the role for you. We need someone who sees the whole project, understands what it needs, and brings their skills to bear at every step.
If you've been frustrated that copywriting is often treated as a downstream execution function and you've been doing something closer to brand strategy just via writing and messaging creation, we want to talk.

Submit your resume, LinkedIn profile, and two to three samples of enterprise digital work you're proud of. Tell us briefly what the challenge was, what you made happen (not just wrote), and what it led to.
