  • Developing strategic content roadmaps that connect organic search, AI-powered discovery, brand authority, audience engagement, and broader marketing objectives.
  • Identifying and prioritizing content opportunities through keyword and audience research, competitive and content performance analysis, and evolving search behaviors.
  • Leading client conversations and presentations, clearly communicating strategic recommendations, results and next steps.
  • Developing editorial calendars, content briefs, optimization plans, and integrated campaigns while maintaining strategic alignment and editorial quality.
  • Partnering with SEO, Paid Media, Social, Digital PR, Creative, and Analytics teams to develop connected content programs and amplification strategies.
  • Evaluating content performance, identifying actionable insights, and recommending adjustments based on KPIs and business impact.
  • Leveraging AI tools and modern workflows to improve the efficiency and quality of content research, planning, development, and analysis.

You must have

  • 6+ years of experience in Content Marketing, SEO Content, Editorial Strategy, or a related agency or in-house marketing role.
  • Experience independently developing and managing content strategies that drive measurable performance across organic search, engagement, or broader business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience applying SEO best practices and AI-powered search insights to content strategy, development, optimization, and performance measurement.
  • Experience translating audience research, keyword data, competitive insights, and content performance into prioritized strategic recommendations.
  • Experience creating and managing a variety of content formats, including website content, blogs, thought leadership, and integrated digital marketing assets.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients, complex workstreams, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly explain strategic recommendations, results, and tradeoffs.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across disciplines such as SEO, Paid Media, Social, Digital PR, Creative, and Analytics.
  • Experience using marketing and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Adobe Analytics, Asana, and AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
  • Preference: experience working with enterprise-level, B2B or B2C client accounts.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $74,000 to $95,000. Remote-first, with office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. This position may be performed remotely in most US states, with some exclusions, and is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
