Screenwriter (Nonprofit Film Studio) – Remote

Imagination Mode is a nonprofit film and media production studio dedicated to telling compelling, socially conscious stories that spark conversation and inspire change. We develop narrative films, documentaries, and creative content centered on real-world issues, human connection, and cultural impact.

We are currently seeking a Screenwriter to join our creative team on a remote, flexible schedule.

Role Overview
As a Screenwriter at Imagination Mode, you will collaborate with our creative team to develop original scripts, story concepts, and narrative content for films and digital media projects. This role is ideal for writers who are passionate about storytelling with purpose and are looking to build experience in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities
Develop and write original screenplays, short scripts, or story treatments.
Collaborate with producers and directors to refine story structure and dialogue.
Participate in creative brainstorming and story development sessions (virtual).
Revise scripts based on feedback while maintaining narrative integrity.
Support projects that focus on social issues, culture, and human-centered stories.

Qualifications
Strong storytelling and writing skills.
Interest in film, television, or digital media storytelling.
Ability to work independently and meet light weekly commitments.
Open to feedback and collaborative creative processes.
Previous screenwriting experience or portfolio preferred, but not required.
