I'm hiring a freelance Reddit Community Specialist at Mercury.
Looking for someone who genuinely understands Reddit and founder communities to support our day-to-day presence across relevant subreddits. This is an execution-first contract role (about 20 hours a week) focused on showing up thoughtfully, credibly, and in a way that respects how Reddit actually works.
You’ll work closely with me (Sr. Manager, Community) and our Community Engagement Manager (Melanie Ehrenkranz) who owns channel strategy and growth. This role is about great judgment, strong writing, and consistent, high-quality participation in the field + surfacing patterns, questions, and sentiment from the community back to the team.
If you’ve spent years in Reddit communities, have strong editorial instincts, and care deeply about community-led spaces, I’d love to hear from you.
DM me for details.
