Summary: 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Management Assistant to support the publishing team at The Daily Grace Co. This role will assist the Editorial Project Manager in tracking and coordinating the operational lifecycle of our books and Bible studies.

The ideal candidate can work efficiently within a flexible schedule and is passionate about supporting the production of resources that equip disciples to know and love God and His Word. The Project Management Assistant will focus on administrative support and tracking, allowing the full-time Editorial Project Manager to focus on high-level planning and strategy.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, Communications, Publishing or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, editorial, operations, or publishing preferred
  • Strong understanding of workflows, systems, and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in project management software (ClickUp or similar), with strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across editorial, design, marketing, operations, and supply chain teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to anticipating and resolving issues.
  • Alignment with TDGC’s mission, doctrinal statement, and brand voice 


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Workflow & Calendar Management
    1. Update and maintain project schedules in our project management software (ClickUp), ensuring all current dates and statuses are accurate.
    2. Track deadlines for individual contributors (writers, editors, designers) and provide reminders to ensure accountability.
    3. Schedule and prepare for project meetings, including distributing clear agendas, taking detailed meeting minutes, and ensuring follow-up items are assigned.
  2. Documentation & Communication
    1. Serve as a documentation hub, ensuring all project information, including final files and key decisions, is logged and organized in ClickUp for visibility across departments.
    2. Assist in drafting routine project communications, status updates, and reports for the Editorial Project Manager.
    3. Facilitate smooth administrative handoffs by ensuring necessary files and instructions are ready when a project moves between Editorial, Design, and Marketing.
  3. Quality Assurance Support
    1. Conduct administrative checks on project documents (e.g., confirming correct metadata entry, checking file names).
    2. Assist the Editorial Project Manager with ensuring editorial and design deliverables are accessible and complete for review.
  4. Other duties as assigned
