We're looking for intriguing first-person pitches to feature on Business Insider Review’s style vertical. Our focus is high-quality clothing/shoes that combine style with comfort.
Q1 topics: plus-size clothing, leggings, bags/purses, women's workwear, women's shoes, jackets/coats, stylish travel gear, pajamas/loungewear. Luxury angles or budget angles.
Think:
Size-specific clothing needs (the best TK for petite, plus size, extra wide, etc)
Workwear: What women in different professions are wearing to the office, how to stay comfortable at work
Mid-range luxury loungewear: Comfort that’s worth the investment
Trend-focused pieces: What to buy and how to achieve the look
Stylish travel gear used by organized jet-setting types
Examples:
- I tested 87 pairs of heels by walking a mile in each — these are the 20 most comfortable ones
- I'm a travel writer and these are the best travel purses I've taken abroad, from stylish crossbodies to spacious East-West bags

- Visiting brick-and-mortar retailers to compare prices and fit
- Surprisingly affordable Amazon finds ("what I ordered online vs. what came in the mail”)
- Investigating why a notoriously expensive fashion item costs so much
- Luxury accessories that are worth it
Rates for these start around $300 for 600 words and may increase from there, depending on a story's lift.
