Right now, less than two percent of global philanthropy supports womenās rights. Meanwhile, funding for anti-gender movements is on the rise.
Itās more important than ever to explore, understand, and critique the relationship between gender and philanthropy, on a global scale. Iām looking for a brilliant, unique, analytical gender philanthropy piece for the upcoming summer issue of Alliance magazine.
In your pitch, tell me why *you* are the most suitable person to write this article. I'm not looking for an opinion piece or your personal reflection. But for the right person, I can consider an interview.
I'm especially interested in hearing from you if you work in a region outside of Europe and the US.

NOTE: Alliance is a publication that predominantly publishes practitioner voices. In that regard, we're closer to a professional journal than an editorial magazine. Alliance writers offer their time and writing voluntarily, as it usually falls into the knowledge sharing work their organisations and foundations support. We do not typically accept pitches from freelance journalists writing for a fee. But if you're a philanthropy practitioner who meets the requirements for our inclusion fund, this opportunity is paid.
