Stirred is an agency driven by an ambition to match the innovation of the health sector with the communications innovation it deserves. We offer communications, marketing and creative services to businesses and organisations that want to positively influence health.
Our approach is built on a blend of valuing both ‘craft’ and ‘graft’, and a strong set of core values (See the possibilities; Think we, not me; It’s got to be good) provides the glue that keeps us together while allowing plenty of room for embracing our differences.
Whether it’s bringing fresh perspectives to challenge the health sector, blending strategic communications theory with the reality of integrated programme execution, or helping bring the right people together to spark the next big innovation, there can be no one-size approach. That’s what we mean when we say we’re a ‘healthy hybrid’ agency – it’s our model for mixing things up, which enables us and our clients to respond to the opportunities and challenges facing health communicators today.
We are also committed to being a force for good, ensuring our actions have a positive impact on our team, the clients and communities we serve, and the wider environment. That’s why we've worked hard to become fully B-Corp certified, and hold a Platinum level Ecovadis rating.
We’re looking for someone who can help us be true partners to our current and future clients, growing with us as our business expands.
As a Consultant, you will be a core part of the delivery team for a portfolio of client projects and programmes, alongside colleagues who all offer their own unique set of skills and areas of expertise.
You will operate at all stages of the process, from ideation and initiation, to operational execution, and right the way through to evaluation. No day is likely to be the same, and could include planning, content development and production, events and more.
As a small but growing agency (<20 people), you will also get to play a key part in helping us to shape the agency overall – from the way we operate with each other to the way we engage with the world around us.
For this particular role, we are looking for someone with previous experience in working on marketing programmes for the pharmaceutical/ life science industry – minimum 2 years.
Maybe you’ve been in a networked or large creative, digital, or brand communications agency but are excited at the thought of working for a smaller (twice-crowned small consultancy of the year by Communique 2024 and 2025!), independent, and integrated communications company?
Maybe you’ve been working in an in-house marketing role but think you’d fit well in an agency environment having seen it from the other side?
We’re looking for someone who has a strong understanding of marketing techniques that work within the context of the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience that focuses on engaging healthcare professionals via owned and paid channels is a must, with experience using earned media/PR techniques and communicating directly to patients an added bonus.
A strong grounding in science with the ability to communicate complex science and data into clear and compelling messaging is important.
You’ll have a growth mind-set and be making efforts to keep pace with industry and societal shifts – including the practical adoption of new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Above all, we’re looking for someone with the drive to make a genuine impact to health outcomes through effective communications.
We operate as a remote-only team, so this role will be 100% remote.
But we also enjoy getting together regularly to further build our team spirit in the way that only face-to-face interaction can - currently that means quarterly meet-ups for 1-2 days. It’s important that this way of working works for you – please consider this seriously before applying.
We like to think we’re a bunch of grown-ups too, so operate a flexible working hours policy that balances business and personal needs, with a minimum (not maximum!) holiday limit.
Salary range: £32,000 - £40,000
We will share more during the recruitment process, but in addition to salary, we also provide a range of additional benefits that support:

Unfortunately we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position, so successful candidates need to have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
We know that building a team made up of people who all look and sound the same is commercial and social madness, so we provide equal opportunities and are building an inclusive and diverse team that reflects the diverse and exciting nature of our business.
As part of the recruitment process, successful candidates will be invited to interviews, normally held virtually by video call.
We want to make sure that the recruitment process is as inclusive as possible, so if you anticipate that you will require any reasonable adjustments, we would be happy to have a conversation with you about this.
If you think adjustments may be helpful, but are unsure what accommodations may be possible, we can also discuss this with you.
