Position Overview

We are looking for a Personal Finance Writer who can thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of financial products, investing, and market dynamics and who also has strong writing skills. You’ll contribute across multiple areas of the business, from reviewing financial products and producing in-depth market insights to drafting press releases and educational content.

Your writing will reach tens of thousands of readers online and engage millions across social media, amplifying your impact on a huge scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Write high-quality articles, product reviews, and insights on investment platforms, financial planning, and market trends.
• Financial Analysis: Research and evaluate financial products, providing clear, expert-backed insights for our audience.
• Product Reviews: Compare ISAs, pensions, investment platforms, and other financial products, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Press Releases & Commentary: Draft financial press releases and contribute to media discussions on financial trends.
• SEO & Content Optimisation: Ensure content is optimised for search engines and maintains a high editorial standard.
• Regulatory & Market Updates: Stay informed on financial regulations and investment trends to keep our content up to date.
• Advisory Input: Provide technical expertise to support financial content across social media and other platforms.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• Strong knowledge of financial products, investing, and market dynamics.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to translate complex topics into reader-friendly content.
• Exceptional writing skills, with experience in financial content creation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred:

• Financial Qualification such as DipPFS (Diploma in Financial Planning); Chartered Financial Planner status preferred.
• Experience in a financial planning or advisory role.
• Familiarity with SEO and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
• Experience engaging with audiences across social media and digital platforms.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
