Role Summary (Remote — U.S. Only)
Tenzen is hiring a part-time, contract Social Media Content Assistant to draft and schedule content for LinkedIn and Facebook, including a simple, brand-aligned Canva visual for each post. This is an execution-focused role. You’ll work from founder-provided themes, bullets, and/or voice notes and turn them into polished, human-centered, professional posts.
Location requirement: Remote (U.S.-based only). Contractor must be able to invoice and complete standard U.S. contractor paperwork (e.g., W-9).
Compensation & Time
- hourly pay (contract, not salaried)
- Time: ~3–6 hours/week (varies based on revision volume and template readiness)
- Schedule: Must have weekday overlap with U.S. business hours (EST preferred)
Weekly Deliverables
- LinkedIn, Facebook posts
- Canva visual (template-based, brand-aligned). Canva preferred, but Adobe Express or comparable tools accepted. Must deliver editable source files + exports.
Responsibilities
- Draft and adapt copy appropriately for LinkedIn, Facebook, website, etc
- Create/export visuals
- Schedule posts and maintain a weekly publishing rhythm
- Track basic monthly performance metrics (reach/engagement/top posts)
Requirements
- Native-level English writing skills required (posts are in English)
- Strong short-form writing and editing; good judgment and professionalism
- Canva proficiency (clean, simple visuals)
- Reliable deadlines, organized workflow, and responsive communication
- U.S.-based only with weekday overlap (EST preferred)
- Able to invoice and submit a W-9
Nice to have
- Experience writing for coaches/consultants/professional services
- Familiarity with mission-driven, values-based messaging
- Spanish and/or Haitian Kreyòl proficiency (bonus for future multilingual content; not required now)
