Compensation: $40-50/hour

About the Role
As our Organic Social Media Contractor, you'll be the strategic engine driving Bonterra's social presence across LinkedIn and Instagram. You'll work with cross-functional teams to plan, create, manage, and optimize content that showcases our impact in the social impact technology space.
This is a fully remote role that blends strategic planning with hands-on content execution.
What You'll Do
-
Build and manage social media calendars: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather content ideas, align with company initiatives, and create quarterly/monthly editorial calendars for LinkedIn and Instagram.
-
Own the content workflow: Manage ideation, creation, review, and execution of content from concept to posting. This includes copywriting, design coordination, and quality assurance.
-
Engage with our community: Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages, building relationships with followers and amplifying conversations around our mission.
-
Track and report on performance: Generate monthly analytics reports using Sprout Social, identify trends, measure engagement, and provide insights to optimize future content strategy.
Who You Are
-
2-4 years of social media experience: You have hands-on experience managing social media accounts, ideally in a SaaS, technology, or social impact organization.
-
Fluent across platforms: You understand the nuances of LinkedIn (thought leadership, B2B) and Instagram (visual storytelling, community). You know what works on each platform and can adapt content accordingly.
-
Sprout Social expert: You're comfortable using Sprout Social for scheduling, analytics, and reporting. If you haven't used it, you're a quick learner with proven experience in similar tools.
-
Strategic and organized: You can think beyond individual posts and build cohesive content strategies. You manage timelines, prioritize requests, and juggle multiple projects with grace.
-
Strong communication skills: You can write compelling copy for different audiences, brief stakeholders clearly, and collaborate across teams with enthusiasm and professionalism.
-
Mission-driven: You're passionate about social impact, nonprofit tech, or helping organizations do good in the world. You get why we do what we do.
Nice to Have
• Experience with content management or design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite)
• Exposure to the nonprofit or social impact space
• Experience with paid social campaigns
