LinkedIn Content Writer
#samsales ConsultingI'm hiring a writer for #samsales Consulting to join my small-but-mighty LinkedIn Executive Branding (LIEB) team. The role will start at 20 hours/week, with the goal of growing into a full-time position. We're still figuring out the exact timing, but I expect to bring someone on sometime between now and January 1.
A little about what we do
Our team works with executives (mostly CEOs and founders, but also CROs, CPOs, CTOs, and others) to turn their experiences and ideas into consistent thought leadership content on LinkedIn. We interview them, get to know their voices, and figure out how to translate what they know into content that resonates. Our broader team also handles publishing and outreach behind the scenes, but that won't be part of this hire's role.
Note that you do NOT need to have experience writing or ghostwriting for LinkedIn to apply (though that's a plus). As long as you have a solid writing background and the qualities below, I can teach you the LinkedIn-specific stuff.
What I'm really looking for is someone who
- Actively enjoys talking to clients on Zoom. You'll be interviewing high-profile executives regularly, so you should be comfortable leading conversations and building relationships.
- Has great communication instincts and knows how to be professional, personable, and proactive in client interactions.
- Can juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and moving pieces without getting overwhelmed. Freelancers and small business owners, this might be you!
- Enjoys writing but also likes the strategy, research, and project management that come with it.
- Bonus points if you're comfortable using AI tools or have experience writing about AI.
One important thing to know: this is probably a 50% writing, 50% everything-else role. You'll spend a good chunk of your time interviewing clients, researching topics, managing content calendars, coordinating approvals, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. We don't typically have the kind of same-day turnaround times that some writing roles demand, but we do have a lot of moving pieces to keep track of (with plenty of support from the team).
If you're someone who loves writing and enjoys getting to know interesting people, I think you'll really like this role.
Compensation: $3,200/month at ~20 hours/week to start, moving to $70,000/year if the role becomes full-time. Remote.
