We're growing! I am SO excited to share some incredible new roles that are now live at TrustedHousesitters, in our fabulous marketing team 🌟

1️⃣ First up, we're on the hunt for a shiny, new Head of Brand & Content Marketing. This is a new role that will lead the charge in our storytelling strategy. With more than 240k members, TrustedHousesitters has so many pet & pet parent stories to tell, so this person will own how our content is shared to the world - via channels including social, PR & campaigns (me, hello 👋) and UGC.
💰: £70-93k

2️⃣ Next, we're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to drive momentum and oversee the delivery of all the amazing work we're doing in right now. This is the perfect role for someone who's highly organised, can keep standards high whilst spinning lots of plates and loves some cross functional creativity 🤩.
💰: £45-65k

3️⃣ We're also searching for a Senior Affiliates & Partnerships Manager. This is a super exciting role as our affiliate programme has gone from strength to strength over recent months and years, so this person will be tasked with taking it even further - the sky is the limit 🚀. If you're commercially minded, a great relationship builder and have an eye for growth, then this could be the perfect role for you 👀
💰: £50-65k

4️⃣ Lastly, but definitely not least, is a role that is SUPER special and a once in a lifetime opportunity for the right person. Did somebody say ✨dream job✨?! ... we're looking for a Social Content Creator to travel the world (frequent travel to 🇺🇸), meet our members (yes, this means LOADS of pets) and capture content to be shared to our ever-growing online community.

This role will work closely with the full marketing team, including PR & campaigns ( 👋 me again!!), brand, talent and UGC. The limits are endless and will suit a person with natural creative flair, a skill for video content creation, high-level understanding of social platforms and trends... as well as a bucket load of passion for pets and travel! ✈️ 🐾
💰: £35-40k + travel costs

About the role:
We’re looking for a creative and visionary Head of Brand & Content Marketing to lead the next evolution of our storytelling strategy. This is a rare opportunity to shape how our brand comes to life across every touchpoint - from social feeds and PR headlines to brand campaigns and in-product experiences. You’ll own a unified, insight-driven content strategy that reaches, engages, converts, and inspires advocacy. You’ll lead a high-performing team spanning PR & Campaigns, Social Content, and Member-Led Content (UGC), while collaborating closely with other marketing, product, and community leaders to scale what works and deliver compelling content across the full customer journey. You’ll also bring experience in leading talent or ambassador programmes - making the most of our most passionate members, enabling them to become our most authentic storytellers and content creators.

The salary range for this role is £70,000 - £93,000 per annum

Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Storytelling
• Develop and own a unified content strategy that drives brand visibility, engagement, and supports conversion.
• Define what great content looks like for our brand, ultimately cracking the formula for content that performs and earns advocacy
• Experiment across formats and mediums (video, social, editorial, in-product, etc.) to find what resonates with different audiences, across different channels.
• Champion storytelling excellence across all touchpoints, including social, PR, emails, blog, product, forums, community spaces and more.
• Able to demonstrate and measure the business impact of content, with a clear link to commercial objectives.

Multi-Channel Campaigns, Content Planning, and Distribution

• Plan and deliver high-impact, multi-channel brand campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and growth.
• Build a content framework that maps the right messages to the right moments, formats, and surfaces across the customer journey.
• Ensure high-performing content is repurposed and distributed effectively across all relevant owned, earned, and paid channels.

UGC, Talent & Advocacy

• Lead our member-led content strategy - making the most of our passionate community through UGC, testimonials, and ambassador-led storytelling.
• Build and scale a structured talent/ambassador programme (currently using Duel) that empowers members to become brand champions and content creators.
• Design systems and incentives that make it easy and rewarding for members to share their stories.

Leadership & Team Management

• Line-manage roles across PR & Campaigns, Social Content Creation, and UGC/Talent Management.
• Set high standards for content craft and creative ambition, while supporting team development and growth.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within the Brand & Content function.

Brand Strategy, Partnerships & Cultural Relevance

• Identify and lead content-forward brand partnerships that enhance reach, relevance, and impact
• Stay attuned to culture and trends, ensuring our content is resonant, timely, and differentiated
• Work with internal teams and external partners to execute high-impact, narrative-led creative campaigns

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Copy Lead (a peer) to ensure content strategy is executed in line with brand tone of voice and messaging
• Collaborate with the Marketing Design Lead to bring content to life visually across paid and owned channels
• Partner with the Product Design Director to ensure a consistent experience between brand content and product design
• Collaborate with Product teams to ensure content opportunities within the product experience are leveraged
• Work with the CRM leadership team to ensure content strategy is aligned across lifecycle campaigns, onboarding journeys, and always-on email comms
• Partner with the Membership Services Director to shape engaging, brand-aligned content within customer forums and community platforms

Requirements

• Proven experience leading brand and/or content teams in high-growth consumer or marketplace environments
• Deep expertise in content strategy and storytelling, with a clear understanding of what drives engagement, conversion, and loyalty
• Experience executing full-funnel campaigns across a mix of media, including ATL and digital channels
• Strong editorial and creative instincts, with fluency in multichannel planning (social, PR, email, in-product, blog, etc.)
• Experience running talent, UGC, or ambassador programs - and turning happy members into influential advocates
• Comfortable using performance insights to inform and evolve content strategy
• Track record of producing content that cuts through and builds emotional resonance
• Excellent creative judgement, leadership, collaboration, and communication skills

£70,000 - £93,000 a year
