Freelance Writer

📝 Cure is looking to onboard several experienced freelance writers to support our coverage of healthcare, biotech, and life sciences, including a data journalist with a strong background in this space.

We have several exciting projects planned for 2026 and would love to connect with writers we can build long-term collaborations with.

📊 Data journalism: We’re seeking a data journalist who enjoys working with complex datasets and knows how to surface the stories that actually matter. Prior experience producing data-driven journalism is required, along with the ability to turn analysis into clear, compelling narratives.

🧬 Healthcare and biotech reporting: We’re also looking for writers with bylines at biotech or health tech publications who can report confidently on the business of healthcare, from company building to capital markets. You should be comfortable interviewing biotech CEOs and senior industry leaders, and able to translate complex science, strategy, and funding dynamics into work that resonates with an informed audience.

A strong source network and genuine curiosity about where healthcare is headed are big pluses.
