I'm not a brilliant writer, nor have I ever enjoyed writing. Blasphemy to admit with "content" in my job title, I know. So, I'm looking for people who are the opposite!
I'm searching for talented freelance writers who:
- Have a strong editorial judgement for what 'good' writing looks like
- Know how to find interesting angles and insights, instead of restating the obvious in colorful ways
- Have range beyond the generic 'Thing X helps you solve problem Y’ style
- Bring their own tone of voice (which will help Supermove develop a distinctive voice)
- Aren't afraid to push back against the brief
- Genuinely enjoy writing
- Will help us avoid 'SEO slop' -- the kind of stuff that looks and feels like 'content marketing'
Bonus if you have experience "translating" complex product talk into straightforward and easy-to-understand articles.
In a nutshell, we need creative collaborators. You won't be in a machine, cranking out content for content's sake.
Since we're planning to publish more articles for our enterprise audience, I'm starting to put together a 'roster' of writers to consider for:
1) Sales enablement and bottom-funnel topics
2) Buying journey support topics
3) Thought leadership (ft. our founder's POVs and the narratives we share at conferences).
Feel free to share your best portfolio example in the comments or in private messages. Whatever you feel most comfortable with!
It will also help me to know which of these 3 types of content you're best at.

For context, Supermove is moving company software. While you'd be writing for multiple decision makers in enterprise companies, I think you'll find your way. Moving industry subject matter is nowhere near as complex as FinTech, InsurTech, medicine, and similar industries IMO.
