Hoppy is on the hunt for a talented social video editor to join our creative team! If you're constantly on social media, know your way around Premiere, and can turn pretty much anything into polished content overnight, this is your chance to be part of something huge.
As a Freelance Editor, you’ll dive headfirst into our social strategy, working directly with top-tier marketers and a robust social team to launch and scale an app from the ground up.
We’re looking for someone uber talented, quick, and flexible! Someone eager to be on the frontlines of our brand—capturing spontaneous moments, pop-up events, and creator collabs, then turning them into thumb-stopping content that brings Hoppy to life online as we grow our U.S. presence.
This is an incredible chance to get in early with a team that's building the next great Gen Z social app.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
🌀 Super flexible & reactive schedule
You’re always online, can hop on a last-minute shoot, and thrive in organized chaos.
✂️ Editing wizardry
You can cut fast, with flair. Bonus points if you’ve edited for social-native brands or creators.
🎬 Content instincts on lock
You get the culture—what trends hit, what doesn’t, and how to make content that feels alive.
🛫 Willing to travel (often spontaneously)
Sometimes we need to film in a new city. You’re down.
📍 Ideally NYC-based (or able to be here often)
Able to work IRL with our awesome team in our new(!) Meatpacking office
