Freelance Role Alert πŸ“’

I'm looking to bring on another editor/copywriter for Taylor Scher Consulting, LLC.

A good fit is someone who knows how to make content engaging, comprehensive, technical, and on brand for deep mid-market B2B SaaS companies. Someone who can help take our outputs from 85-90% to 100%.

At the same time, I'm looking for copywriters with experience creating engaging landing pages, such as platform pages, comparison pages, and sales enablement.

This role is perfect for editors and writers experienced in working with AI-generated content and AI workflows.

The role will heavily involve using content feedback to fine-tune our shared systems, so knowledge of AI workflows (N8N, Make, Cowork, Claude Code, etc.) is highly preferred.

Highly encouraging both technical writers and copywriters to apply, please use this link to fill out the form:

Please only use the form below to fill out the application. Any direct messages will disqualify you.

PS. I'll soon be posting about other roles I'm looking to bring on, which include graphic designer, SEO, and VA, so please keep your eye out for future posts if interested.

Freelance Content Editor β€” Taylor Scher Consulting

What we're building

Taylor Scher Consulting is scaling content production for our B2B SaaS clients, and we need an editor who can embed within our workflows. We need someone who understands how to take AI-assisted content that's nearly there and push it over the finish line β€” making it engaging, technically sharp, and unmistakably on-brand for each client. Since we’re continually updating these systems, you’ll also be expected to apply feedback directly to our workflows to improve future outputs.

What you'd actually be doing

You'll be editing content across mid-market B2B SaaS clients in verticals like hospitality tech, analytics, markup/document software, and employee experience platforms. Every piece you touch should read like it was written by someone who deeply understands the product and its buyers.

Our content production runs on AI workflows and your feedback doesn't just improve individual pieces, it feeds back into the system. You'll help fine-tune prompts, templates, and automation logic so future outputs get stronger over time. A huge plus for editors who have either worked with or built out workflows using N8N, Make, Claude Cowork, Claude Code, etc.Β

This all includes:

  • Making sure the content fits the strategy: Every piece has a job to do. You'll check that drafts align with the client's positioning, speak to the right audience, and support the broader SEO or content goals we're working toward.
  • Making technical topics readable without dumbing them down: Our clients sell into industries like hospitality, supply chain, and document management. You'll edit content about these products in a way that sounds knowledgeable and credible to the people actually buying them.
  • Stress-testing the argument: If a draft makes a claim (product or research), it should hold up. You'll look for gaps in logic, unsupported statements, and anything a buyer might push back on.
  • Turning edits into system improvements: Your feedback isn't just for one piece β€” it feeds back into our AI workflows. Notes should be specific enough that we can use them to fine-tune prompts, templates, and outputs going forward.
  • Shipping clean work: What you send back should be close to publishable. The goal is no loose ends and a clean document.

What we're looking for

Someone who can read a draft about hospitality property management software or a supply chain WMS platform and immediately tell whether it sounds credible or generic. Someone who edits with intent, tightening arguments, catching unsupported claims, restructuring where needed, without stripping personality.

You should be comfortable with AI content pipelines and understand that your editorial judgment is a direct input into system quality, not just a final polish step. Experience across multiple SaaS verticals is a plus since you'll be switching contexts frequently.

What matters to us

  • Deliverables come back ready to publish, not ready for another round
  • Your feedback loop applies to current articles, but can be integrated into our systems to improve future outputs
  • Technical depth/writing is an absolute must. The ability to cover technical concepts and industry language that passes the BS detectors of the client’s ICP.Β
  • You can move between client voices and industries without losing quality. You’ll be set up with proper brand guidelines/writing stylesheets during client onboarding.Β
  • You’re not afraid to give feedback on processes we could be doing better. We’re always looking for better ways to improve our workflows.
