Roundtable Sports, one of the fastest-growing sports networks in the world, is looking for eager freelance sportswriters to help launch Iowa State Roundtable, the network's new site dedicated to providing Iowa State Cyclones coverage and community. These credentialed writers will work with site publisher and established Iowa sports media personality Brad Schultz to produce engaging content through game coverage, press conferences, and creative enterprise stories.
Writers are expected to produce up to 2-4 articles and one community post per day, have strong knowledge of Iowa State and college athletics, and be comfortable on camera. Writers must also be familiar with AP style and be able to self-edit and publish stories.
Living in or near Ames is recommended, but not required. This can be a remote position as well as long as you follow the games.
