Are you passionate about digital marketing and fluent in Chinese? We are a fast-growing global digital marketing company, expanding our dynamic network of Search Marketing Specialists. We’re searching for skilled Chinese-language SEO experts (Traditional and Simplified) to support high-impact projects across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and Taiwan.
We are especially keen to partner with talented freelancers who can provide mid to senior-level support for SEO content optimisation, SEO strategy, and digital campaigns targeting local Chinese markets.
Experience with platforms such as Baidu, 360 Search, Sogou, and analytics tools like Tongji is a significant advantage.
Job requirements
What You’ll Do:
- Apply Chinese linguistic, cultural, and market expertise to optimise multilingual search and digital marketing campaigns.
- Conduct detailed keyword research (including on local platforms like Baidu Keyword Planner), content development, and localisation/adaptation for target markets.
- Optimise and adapt SEO content for Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong and Taiwan) and Simplified Chinese (Mainland China), ensuring cultural and search relevance.
- Develop high-performing ad copy tailored to local market preferences and search behaviours.
- Provide ongoing strategy recommendations for on-page SEO, content structure, and performance improvements.
- Maintain exceptional levels of accuracy, detail, and organisation in all deliverables.
What We’re Looking For:
- Native-level proficiency in Chinese (Traditional or Simplified) with fluent English.
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on SEO/content optimisation experience, ideally with digital channels specific to Hong Kong, Mainland China, and/or Taiwan.
- Proficiency in international and local search/analytics tools (Google Keyword Planner, Baidu Webmaster Tools, Baidu Analytics/Tongji, etc.).
- Advanced content adaptation skills and an understanding of local market search trends.
- Strong commitment to quality, deadlines, and communication.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel/Word skills).
- Demonstrated interest in digital marketing; up-to-date knowledge of evolving SEO strategies in the Greater China region.
