Freelance PR Contractor

I don’t post opportunities like this often, but I’m putting out the call.

I’m looking to bring on 1 to 2 freelance PR contractors to support a few client accounts.

I’m looking for someone who:

* Understands public relations, media relations, and communications.
* Is a strong writer who knows how to write press releases, media pitches, and compelling story angles.
* Understands how to position a story for media placement.
* Is comfortable with media outreach and relationship building.
* Has corporate communications experience. That’s a strong plus.
* Is organized, proactive, and a quick learner.
* Is comfortable speaking with clients when needed.

Most importantly, you must be a self-starter.

I’m not looking to micromanage anyone. I’ll give you the strategy, the direction, and the blueprint. I need someone who knows how to execute, solve problems, and make things happen.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to sharpen their PR skills, work across a variety of accounts, and eventually build something of their own.
