The GOD'S CHILD Project is looking to connect with an experienced freelance grant writer who is passionate about using their skills to help create meaningful and lasting impact.
For more than 30 years, The GOD'S CHILD Project has worked alongside children and families to break the cycle of poverty through education, healthcare, housing, human rights, and sustainable community development.
As we continue to grow our impact, we are looking for someone who can help us strengthen our grant strategy and tell our story in a way that connects our mission with foundations and funding partners who share our vision.
We're looking for someone who can help with:
- Researching and identifying strong grant opportunities
- Writing compelling letters of inquiry and grant proposals
- Developing clear and persuasive cases for support
- Managing grant deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements
- Building a sustainable pipeline of foundation and institutional funding opportunities
- Collaborating with our team to translate programs, outcomes, and stories into strong proposals.
Ideally, you have experience writing successful grants for nonprofit organizations, understand foundation and corporate giving, and know how to balance compelling storytelling with measurable outcomes.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to understand our mission and become a partner in helping us create opportunities for children and families.
