OPPORTUNITIES' - shares welcome!
I'm putting together a database of writers for potential upcoming roles.
IF these opportunities go forward, they would be freelance contract roles. The work would take place on GMT/GMT+1 time. If interested please read the whole thread before responding.
The contacts I’m interested in finding are of Senior Writer and Principal Writer level. Please note in the subject which you’re interested in. Apologies, these wouldn’t be entry level roles at this point.
Senior Writers would require previous writing credits, that include interactive experience. - Experience on AAA/commercial projects a bonus. Please highlight any – mission experience, text writing experience or bark writing experience separately.
A ’Principal’ Writer role would require previous writing credits, that includes significant, demonstrable cutscene/screenwriting experience.
Interactive experience isn’t a requirement, but understanding of games would be. Please highlight your all-round experience with a focus on screenwriting/cinematic scene writing.
Note - for both roles written portfolios would be required. Only submit games/videos in support of written materials.
Please include contact details in the c.v./portfolio not the email. Please add your country of residence in the subject. That will help me get the details to the right place as and when/if the opportunities open.
By submitting your information , you agree to allowing it to be forwarded to a company to be considered for these and other potential roles. At which point I will delete all emails and details and will not keep any data.
Please understand I'll do my best to answer general questions (please check comments in case your ? has been answered), sadly I won't be able to offer direct responses, cv reviews or portfolio checks.
Applications are open to all and it'd be great to hear from women + under-represented communities.
Please state clearly in the email subject which role(s) you are applying for, but bear in mind that any Principal writer would be required to demonstrate more experience.
Send your information to [click apply]
Thanks and good luck!
