GameRant is looking for eager and talented Mobile Gaming Article Contributors to join our team. At GameRant, we are focused on covering the newest developments and topics in the gaming industry. We're looking for writers who are well-versed in a wide variety of mobile game franchises and genres to contribute consistent news and features content to our site. The ideal candidate is deeply imbedded in the mobile gaming community, and committed to growing alongside our site's reach and vision. As a contributor, you will assist with covering the biggest topics in the mobile gaming industry, editorializing important details about the most popular titles, and diving deep into a variety of communities. If you share a passion for gaming, a love of writing, and a willingness to learn then this is the role for you!

Your Responsibilities

  • Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site.
  • Contribute news and feature content related to a variety of mobile gaming topics.
  • Have strong editorial instincts and ideate your own topics.
  • Identify compelling writing angles and overlooked stories before competitors.
  • Research and source topics proficiently.
  • Bring original topics and a plethora of mobile gaming knowledge to the table.
  • Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
  • Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exquisite content.

Experience and Skills

  • Working experience in gaming journalism or a related field.
  • Knowledge of gacha games, live-service titles, and mobile gaming trends.
  • Knowledge of major mobile gaming IPs like Marvel, Disney, Pokemon, Star Wars, Harry Potter and more.
  • Experience with SEO practices.
  • Experience with a custom CMS, preferred.
