GameRant is looking for eager and talented Features & Lists Article Contributors to join our team. At GameRant, we are focused on covering the newest developments and topics in the gaming industry. We're looking for writers who are well-versed in a wide variety of game franchises and genres to contribute consistent and high-quality feature and listicle content to our site. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, driven, communicative, and committed to growing alongside our site's reach and vision. As a Features & Lists Contributor, you will assist with covering the biggest topics in the gaming industry, editorializing important details about the most popular titles, and diving deep into a variety of communities. If you share a passion for gaming, a love of writing, and a willingness to learn then this is the role for you!

Your Responsibilities

  • Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site.
  • Contribute features and listicle content related to a variety of gaming topics.
  • Have strong editorial instincts and ideate your own topics regularly.
  • Identify compelling writing angles.
  • Research and source topics proficiently.
  • Bring original topics and a plethora of gaming knowledge to the table.
  • Work under tight deadlines and submit articles for publication on time.
  • Report to the Lead Editor and implement feedback efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to produce exquisite content.

Experience and Skills

  • Working experience in gaming journalism or a related field.
  • Experience in producing gaming and/or related content.
  • In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the gaming industry.
  • Knowledge of the following genres: open-world, action-adventure, FPS, RPGs and more.
  • Knowledge on the following titles: GTA, The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Zelda, and Roblox.
  • Experience with SEO practices.
  • Experience with a custom CMS, preferred.
