Freelance AI-Enabled Brand & Content Writers. π
I'm supporting a well-known lifestyle brand that's looking to strengthen its freelance roster ahead of a busy period.
Particularly interested in brand copywriters (Fashion, beauty or lifestyle) with experience across CRM, email marketing, ecommerce and brand content who have successfully incorporated AI into their workflow.
The interesting part is they're actively exploring how mid-senior copywriters are using AI to improve efficiency, increase output and support tone of voice consistency without compromising human authenticity.
If you've moved beyond simply experimenting with AI and are now using it as a productivity tool, this could be for you.
Whether your background is brand copy, CRM, editorial, journalistic or traditional writing, I'd love to hear how you're blending strong copywriting fundamentals with modern AI-enabled workflows while keeping human authenticity at the core of TOV.

The strongest candidates we're seeing aren't choosing between copywriting and AI, they're combining both.

Great conversations so far. My biggest takeaway:
There are some incredibly talented people out there (some I've known for years), but I'm yet to meet a copywriter who has fully showcased their AI-enabled copywriting capabilities.
Most, if not all, are already using AI every day.
Research.
Ideation.
Content adaptation.
Campaign development.
Tone-of-voice refinement.
Efficiency.
And plenty more. π
The talent is there. The positioning just hasn't been established yet.
So what does a future-of-work copywriter portfolio look like?
Makes me wonder whether we'll start to see more of the thinking and process behind the work alongside all the usual fundamentals. I'd be interested in seeing how AI has been incorporated to support the creative journey.
We're already used to seeing this elsewhere in the creative industry. A retoucher might show a before and after, a designer might demonstrate the journey from moodboard to final execution.
For me, that's far more interesting than simply listing "ChatGPT" on a CV.
The strongest candidates aren't replacing copywriting with AI.
They're using AI to amplify an already great skillset.
