Freelance B2B Writer

Attn B2B freelance writers! I’m looking for a freelance writer to curate The Net Gains Newsletter, a weekly B2B newsletter for U.S. accountants, and produce weekly expert Q&As.

Who I’m Looking For
- A writer with deep accounting industry knowledge and contacts — someone already familiar with the major players, themes, challenges, and conversations shaping the profession
- Ideally an accountant-turned-writer or someone who has worked directly in the industry and understands what accountants truly need
- Experience creating clear, useful, service-focused B2B editorial content (not marketing copy)
Strong interviewing skills and the ability to turn conversations into compelling Q&As

Location
- This role is for U.S.-based writers only, due to the regulatory and industry context.

The Work
You’ll be producing:
- 1 newsletter per week (curated sections)
- 1 short Q&A per week with accounting leaders, experts, and practitioners

About Us
You’ll be writing for The Net Gains, a growing editorial newsletter dedicated to helping accountants run better, more modern, more efficient firms.

Requirements
-Proven understanding of the U.S. accounting landscape
-Familiarity with key firms, influencers, technologies and trends
-Solid interviewing abilities
-Ability to work independently and reliably on a weekly cadence
-Ready to start in early January
