About the job
Are you a strategic writer who can turn complex ideas, interviews, and data into compelling narratives for B2B audiences?
We’re a boutique agency specializing in thought leadership and research-based content for B2B tech clients. From cybersecurity to cloud infrastructure to IT channel trends, we help our clients turn ideas and insights into content that builds credibility, sparks industry conversations, and drives demand.
We're looking for a writer with genuine depth—someone who understands how B2B tech buyers think and can craft content that resonates for executives as well as engineers.
What You’ll Do
- Write a wide range of B2B content: thought leadership articles, research reports, survey-based insights, blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and more.
- Run interviews with subject matter experts, ask smart questions and extract meaningful insights and angles.
- Work directly with clients—joining calls, collaborating on ideas, asking clarifying questions, and presenting content when needed.
- Take inputs—interviews, research data, briefs, client notes—and turn them into clear, compelling narratives for technical and executive audiences.
- Work with primary research (including survey results) and help craft data-driven storylines around original insights.
- Distill complex technical concepts into digestible, authoritative content for diverse B2B audiences, from C-suite leaders to developers.
- Support content strategy and ideation, including creating content briefs, recommending angles, and helping shape narratives.
- Learn and write across a wide variety of technologies: cybersecurity, SaaS, IT infrastructure, AI, DevOps, and beyond.
- Adapt quickly to different tones, voices, and brand styles.
- Contribute to improving editorial processes, brainstorming new content ideas, and elevating deliverables across the board.
- Take ownership of assigned projects—managing your workload, keeping stakeholders updated, and delivering reliably without micromanagement.
- Manage multiple client projects while maintaining consistent quality and meeting deadlines.
How We Use AI
We fully embrace AI as a powerful tool for research, ideation, outlining, and accelerating production.
However:
- Content must still reflect strong thinking, clear judgment, and a human point of view.
- Writers should use AI to work smarter—not as a shortcut for filler or generic content.
- Final deliverables should feel original, authoritative, and genuinely insightful.
If you’re excited about using AI to elevate your work, not replace it, we’re aligned.
You Might Be a Fit If You…
- Have experience writing B2B tech thought leadership content, either in-house or at an agency.
- Are comfortable running interviews, leading conversations with SMEs, and surfacing insights clients didn’t realize they had.
- Can take a mix of interviews, data, and raw inputs and build a strong narrative from scratch.
- Have excellent writing and editing skills, ideally honed through journalism, content marketing, or editorial work.
- Can learn complex products or domains quickly—and enjoy the challenge.
- Have experience writing research-based content or telling stories with survey data (or want to build that skill).
- Can write confidently across tones—from strategic and executive-level to technical and developer-focused.
- Enjoy working directly with clients and representing the agency with professionalism and clarity.
- Are proactive in shaping ideas, suggesting angles, and contributing to content strategy.
- Manage deadlines consistently, communicate early about potential issues, and take full ownership of your projects.
- Enjoy variety, continuous learning, and collaborating with a team that values smart thinking and high-quality creative work.
- Can commit to working within US time zones as needed for client and team meetings and to meet deadlines.
