Guessing Headlights is seeking a freelance writer to create automotive features, buyer’s guides, comparisons, opinion pieces, reviews, and list-based articles for an audience of car enthusiasts and everyday drivers.
We’re looking for someone with personality and strong opinions. Someone who gets excited about value, appreciates the underdog, and understands that the most interesting cars aren’t always the most obvious choices.
We’re looking for people who know what cars are slept on, what’s criminally ignored, and where the real value is. People who can explain why enthusiasts should care about a vehicle everyone else overlooks and who aren’t afraid to challenge conventional wisdom.
We’re especially interested in writers who can spot opportunities where others don’t. Whether it’s an enthusiast bargain, a future collectible, a modification-friendly platform, or a vehicle that delivers far more than most people realize, we’re looking for people who can identify value and explain it to readers.
Coverage areas may include enthusiast vehicles, used car values, modifications, ownership experiences, performance cars, automotive culture, reliability, maintenance, grassroots motorsports, off-roading, collector vehicles, and the automotive marketplace.
