We're hiring: E-Commerce SEO & Growth Strategist (part-time, remote, open worldwide).

I'm looking for someone to grow qualified organic demand for Adorn Croft, a high-end custom furniture brand. This is part of strategizing how we build the brand, not just executing a checklist.

We're looking for a remote strategist (open to anywhere in the world) to be part of building an e-commerce brand by growing qualified organic demand and leads, not just executing a checklist.

You'll work closely with the founder and CEO of Adorn Croft — this isn't a typical SEO role limited to keyword research and content production.

We want someone who is serious in understanding our customers, business, brand philosophy, and who thinks about how organic search contributes to the bigger picture. We expect you to challenge our assumptions, spot opportunities we haven't seen, and bring ideas to the table.

You won't be expected to know everything about Adorn Croft on day one. We expect you to learn, and we'll involve you in understanding our customers, brand, products, and website performance. We offer a long-term path to grow with us.

About Us

Adorn Croft is a US brand that makes high-end custom furniture — think bespoke sofas, rugs, and outdoor furniture. Our customers want more than beautiful furniture. They want a premium, personal experience and a story worth telling about their home. We deliver that with a genuine, colorful, and irresistible personality.

This is why we need someone to carry that same fun personality into the words and strategy behind how customers find us.

What You'll Own

CONTENT STRATEGY & CREATION

  • 6 blog posts per month written with a premium and fun personality tone
  • Content calendar created on a monthly cadence
  • Planning out content formats (landing page, blog, guide, comparison, listicle, etc.)
  • Develop a content strategy that builds genuine authority around topics relevant to the brand
  • Content should answer real customer questions and build trust
  • Own the full cycle: identifying topics, determining search intent, writing content briefs, defining internal linking, creating the content, and measuring performance after it's published

KEYWORD RESEARCH

  • Keywords for the content calendar
  • Keywords for landing/collection pages
  • Intent labeling on all keywords (informational / commercial / transactional)
  • Identify how search behavior signals customer intent, and turn that into commercial opportunity
  • Understand which keywords attract buyers and which attract browsers
  • Identify potential new collections or categories based on customer search intent
  • Regularly surface opportunities we haven't explicitly asked you to look for

OTHERS

  • Strategizing with the founder and marketing team on turning customer insights into optimized content
  • Weekly opportunity/insights note — covering which keywords and pages are working commercially, and any new collection/category opportunities identified
  • Biweekly SOP documentation on your keyword research, content strategy, and content creation process

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience working on e-commerce SEO
  • 2-3 case studies of helping e-commerce brands grow through organic search
  • Experience connecting brand strategy with SEO — not just technical execution
  • Proficient in Ahrefs or SEMrush
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a feel for elevated, brand-appropriate voice
  • Basic technical SEO knowledge (page architecture, redirects, broken pages, crawl issues, schema)
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Proactive: brings suggestions and identifies opportunities rather than only executing what's assigned
  • Willing to take real ownership of the brand — understands the business deeply, learns our philosophy, understands our customers, and thinks about how organic search contributes to the company's larger vision
  • Responsive: replies to messages within 24 hours

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the furniture/home decor industry
  • Experience working with high-ticket e-commerce brands
  • Backlink building capabilities

How We Work Together

  • Fully remote
  • Weekly calls — not just status updates, but strategizing together on gaps and opportunities
  • ClickUp updates throughout the week on task status, questions, and blockers

How to Apply

  • Email sloane@adorncroft.com with:
  • Your resume and LinkedIn profile
  • 2-3 case studies of e-commerce SEO work you've led, with results
  • Tell us about a time you identified an SEO opportunity that wasn't explicitly part of your job description and acted on it. What was the result you brought?
  • A 90-day plan: if you joined Adorn Croft, what would you focus on in your first 90 days, and why?
