Role Overview

We’re hiring a full-time writer with investigative journalism experience, deep SEO knowledge, and the hunger to create 2 or more impactful articles per day. You will collaborate directly with the CEO and other teams to produce content that ranks, converts, and drives performance.

What You’ll Do

• Write and publish 2 or more SEO-optimized articles per day for PracticeBeat’s content engine.
• Attend internal team sessions to extract powerful narratives and use cases.
• Conduct competitor research obsessively, build content playbooks, and reverse-engineer what’s ranking—and beat it.
• Interview subject matter experts (SMEs), internal teams, and occasionally customers to produce authoritative, well-sourced content.
• Help us outrank by surfacing valuable insights and positioning us as thought leaders.
• Stay current on search algorithm changes, keyword trends, and digital health developments.

Requirements

• Background in investigative journalism, feature writing, or in-depth reporting.
• Experience writing for SEO, ideally for medical, health, or SaaS-related industries.
• Excellent English writing and editing skills.
• Able to attend meetings and collaborate in US business hours.
• Comfortable writing under deadlines and publishing high-volume content.
• Curious, analytical, data-obsessed mindset.
• Bonus: Experience in medical writing, nursing, public health, or digital health content.
• English C1

Bonus if you have

• Worked with tools like Semrush, Surfer SEO, Clearscope, Ahrefs, etc.
• Built or contributed to a content strategy playbook or editorial calendar.
• A portfolio of top-ranking articles or journalistic investigations.
