Hey there! I’m Emily, the founder of  The 10K Email Club, a marketing membership for female founders that focuses on the power of emails. I’m on the hunt for an experienced email copywriter (5+ years) to work closely with myself and my Creative Director, starting January 20th.

The bulk of this role is working with female founders to edit and improve their email newsletters and marketing emails. This role requires an eagle eye, a strategic mindset, and a determination to help female founders succeed well beyond inboxes. Experience as an email copywriter is a must, and you must be a team player. There’s TONS of potential for growth within the role and number of hours, if we’re a great fit for each other 🫶. 

The Job

The 10K Email Club is a high-touch, done-with-you club for female founders who need help seeing consistent results from their marketing emails. The Club provides accountability, community, and, most importantly, pro copywriter edits and suggestions to member emails. I’m looking for someone who has a laser-focused ability to find the value in a batch of words, can switch voices in an instant, and will take accountability for seeing edits correctly made by club members (with training and guidance).

Main Tasks Include:

• Copy editing email newsletters
• Checking in with members and keeping them on track
• Creating 3-4 subject line suggestions and preview texts
• Providing comments and explanations for major changes
• Automation and flow editing
• Working with myself and the Creative Director to make sure every email newsletter supports each member’s goals
• Feedback on test emails, including design, spacing, and readability
• Communicating changes or suggestions with club members clearly and positively 
• 1 weekly meeting with the team

The Nitty Gritty

• You’ll be joining a growing team of 3 women
• Starting around 10 hours/week

• Must be based in the US (this is a non-negotiable)
• Must be a native English speaker (this is a non-negotiable)
• Must be available Monday-Friday during normal working hours (exact hours TBD)
• Fully-remote position
• Hourly pay starting at $50, depending on experience 
• Start date: January 20th
• Must be legally allowed to work in the US

This is for you if

• You’re an experienced copywriter of 5+ years
• Your editing skills match your copywriting skills
• You’re a positive person (this is not a joke)
• You’re a strong communicator and have client-facing experience
• You’re VERY familiar with Google Docs
• You’ve written marketing emails for companies, coaches, and brands
• You're incredibly detail-oriented
• You know how to tell a damn good story
• You love small businesses and want to help them grow

Nice to have

• Experience with Flodesk, Kit, and Klaviyo
• Experience with Notion and Trello
• Content marketing experience
• Social media experience
• A design eye
