Coordinator Social [Contract Worker]

Located in New York or LA and reporting to the Director of Social, this position will be responsible for editing, pitching, and producing content for the HBO Max social ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities

• Executing end-to-end editing of content designed for social media, including, but not limited to, clips from existing programming, behind the scenes assets, and compilations.
• Execute end-to-end editing of social content across multiple formats (video, still, talent, etc.) in support of The Pitt, all of which ladder up to HBO and HBO Max's brand goals and business metrics.
• In partnership with the Creative Manager, pitch, ideate, and capture on-set content.
• Collaborate with internal and external creative stakeholders and teammates.
• Organize and maintain assets within a pre-existing storage/archive infrastructure.
• Manage a variety of long- and short-term projects with competing deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
• Deliver highly engaging and error-free video content.

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience editing with Avid or Adobe Premiere.
• Impeccable ability to self-manage, organize, and communicate workload.
• Advanced understanding of the video production workflow.
• Knowledge of social media best practices, formats, platforms, and specs.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in, and knowledge of, HBO and HBO Max programming is vital to the role.
• A willingness to learn, teach, and grow in the position – this is a highly collaborative role that will involve consistent interactions with stakeholders.
• Possible overtime or weekend work may be required.
